It is with great honour and a sense of pride that I extend to you all our viewers and subscribers a hearty welcome to the website of the Horizon Park Primary and Infant School. This, for me, is a dream come through. Ever since my assumption of duties at this school in 2010, the establishing of a webpage has always been one of my greatest dreams. I believe there are too many great things happening at our school, that we have allowed to pass without capturing the moments and sharing them with our stakeholders, viewers and subscribers. (But as the old adage states “Nothing happens before the time.”) I also believe that this is a great way of telling others who we are as well as to bring awareness to our plethora of programmes and activities to those who ordinarily wouldn’t be aware of them.
In this millennial age and the age of technology there could be no better platform to sell the Horizon Park story but by way of social media.
As you whet your appetite with the delectable delights of our academic success, our civic, social and cultural activities; a clean, safe and secured learning environment with its warm friendly and courteous staff, I invite you to spread the positive message of our school remembering that “ Not for school but for life we learn.”
I invite you all to be an integral part of the Horizon Park experience; especially in this, the final leg of our 45th anniversary year…an experience you will never regret.
Horizon Park All Age, now Primary and Infant continues to produce students who are hardworking, principled, responsible and have made valuable contributions both nationally and internationally.
As we celebrate forty-five years of existence, I am happy to be helping to write it’s history. I would love to convey greetings to all stakeholders and all who have been associated with this institution. It is my belief that this school will continue to be instrumental in shaping the lives of youngsters, embrace diversity and lifelong learning as well as to maintain its reputation for excellence.
